Daniel grew up in San Francisco, California, and attended SUM Bible College & Theological Seminary in Oakland. He has worked closely with inner-city at-risk children and youth and has a passion for urban ministry. He decided to move to Colorado after meeting his wife on a mission trip.

Melody attended Evangel University and earned her Master's in Organizational Leadership from SUM Bible College & Theological Seminary, where Daniel is also pursuing a Master of Divinity and where Melody serves as an adjunct faculty member.

They love people and love the local church. Together they lead Legacy Church FC in the beautiful city of Fort Collins, CO where Melody grew up.

Daniel and Melody have been married for ten years and have two children, Elli and Gavin. They wish they could have a dog but Melody is allergic.
